Idol Debut Expected Soon: American Idol champ David Cook's debut has been pencilled in for a Nov. 18 release date. The set is being produced by Rob Cavallo and will likely include co-writes with Collective Soul's Ed Roland, Our Lady Peace's Raine Maida and Kara DioGuardi, Idol 's newest judge.

Americans are increasingly concerned about their own personal financial situations, and believe that Senator Barack Obama will handle the economy better than Senator John McCain. Polls conducted Friday through Monday by the Pew Research Center, The Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg News and ABC News/Washington Post took stock.

Much of Europe is already thinking of the US as being one of the 'weak sisters' dominant in Latin America. The culture trend helps. 74% of families in El Paso speak Spanish at home, not English (even if English-fluent). The flood of illegal (and legal) Mexican immigrants the last 20 years has turned the tide.
